Not for wide feet
Great looking shoe, but for my wide feet, not comfortable. I ordered my usual 8, and there was just about enough room in the toe box, but the heel was too wide and keeps slipping off with each step. The footbed is also quite hard, even with the orthotic. I love Abeo, but this style did not suit my feet.
FAVORITE SHOE in my CLOSET for cold months!
I'm a teacher and CONSTANTLY on my feet. I love this shoe and have bought it over MULTIPLE times.... in grey, at least 2 in black. I keep trying to buy the brown, but when I look for it, it's never available in my size. This is the shoe that I was finally able to "heal" my plantar fasciitis. Even with other shoes from the walking company, my feet still hurt at the end of the day. I have a wide foot with a med-arch and foot/ leg swelling issues. I've had to buy replacement inserts because I've worn them out. The one pair of black shoes that I wore for 2 school years straight finally cracked the sole, but I'd already bought another pair because I thought the leather was looking pretty beat up. LOVE THEM, please keep making this style!
Falls way short of expectations
Shoe is similar to a Dansko shoe I've loved for years, BUT...it's too wide (even on one severely arthritic foot), too long (my heels slip), it has absolutely NO CUSHIONING OR PADDING that one would expect in a "comfort, walking shoe". The "free" orthotics that were sent separately, perhaps were meant to replace any normal "walking shoe" build? Even with those, they are still too large. Without the arthritis, my foot is a normal width....so maybe these are designed for people with extra wide feet? It took me a full month to finally get them, so I will unlikely be trying a different size with this company, as I can't wait that long for shoes. I would never have ordered them if thought they would not come through on delivery. Perhaps, if they were a available in a retail store setting, I would give them a second chance.
This shoe has better style with a more narrow profile and a wonderfully comfortable footbed. This is shoe is much better looking than most clogs and quite possibly the most comfortable I have ever worn.
What size for a wide foot
I was wondering my foot is wide, if I ordered these what size would I get?
