happy with purchase, comfy!
Owned them for a month now and very comfy with them on all day. I've had a bunch of back surgeries and these boots have not caused flare ups (like many other shoes have). Would buy again.
Meow...You've got to be kidding me...Rrrruff?
From the moment I received these boots, I could not even bring them into my home. Why? Because the soles were matted with dust and pet dander...cat or dog hair! I immediately took pictures of these boots and called the customer service at the Walking Company and they in turn asked me to email the pictures of the dirty boots. I could not believe any customer could be that filthy to not only have the shoes since late December 2021, but to also wear them that long and then decide to return the boots worn and notably with cat hair matted to the soles of the boots...I mean, who does that? Come on America! And the previous return label was still included in the box ; so that indicated to me that the previous customer did not even bother to read the packing label that specifically states that including it (the packing label) would void the return. Well, obviously someone dropped the ball there. Nevertheless, the Walking Company was accommodating and offered me a return label so that I could return the filthy boots. Trust me, with my hands gloved, I did not waste any time returning them the same day.
Someone beat me to the punch
I was going to say the same thing as another reviewer. The tan boot is not the tan that I thought it would be. Indeed mushroom is a better description. I was hoping for more of a Timberland boot brown. This came out to be a more of a poopie brown for lack of a better word. I decided to keep it though because they feel well made and are very comfortable. Plus I got the bogo 50%, and for thr price it is a deal. The black one is spot on and I love it. Just know the tan is not exactly like the picture.
Beware of the color
As much as I love this boot, I am returning it as the color that I thought I was ordering was not the color that I received. The moment the boot arrived, I did not hesitate to call the The Walking Company. The color I ordered was a tan-type color. Although the color depicted in the description is clearly tan, the boot, however is listed as "mushroom". So I am thinking, ok perhaps The Walking Company is calling tan "mushroom." Quite contrary. Thankfully, the thoughtful agent understood my expectations (as it was and is so obvious that this boot is not the color as described) and without hesitation emailed a return label. As much as I would love to keep the boot, I would rather be satisfied with what I expected to receive than to settle for what is obviously a typographical and color descriptive error.
Soles—- why can you not make other shoes with this sole? It looks so comfortable
I would like to have something besides a boot with this sole
